GUIDELINES FOR USE
Apply rath’s prUV prior to the skin being exposed to UV radiation. Cream unprotected areas of skin with rath’s prUV and rub in carefully until the initial white shimmer disappears. The application must be repeated after washing with skin cleansing products and after intensive contact with water.
Dosage volume for hands and face each approx. 0.5 – 1 ml.
The use of skin protection products does not release you from the obligatory application of legally specified protection measures.
rath’s prUV is used to effectively protect the skin against UV radiation. UV radiation sources are the sun and technical emitters, e.g. the electric arc during electric welding or mercury pressure radiation units used for drying paint, hardening plastics etc. Depending on the type of reaction with the skin, we distinguish between the long-wave UVA, the medium-wave UVB and the short-wave UVC, which is highest in energy.
The radiation from all wave ranges can lead to skin cancer. Effective UB skin protection must comprise the protection against UVA, UVB and UVC radiation. rath’s prUV achieves this through the combination of nanodispersing titanium dioxide and zinc oxide particles.
Organic filters have insufficient protective effect in the UVC range. Preparations containing titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, on the other hand, absorb within the entire UV range, meaning also in the UVC range. The combination of the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide leads to even better skin compatibility. Vitamin E acetate reinforces this effect.
